Running...

So I began running this past summer. I'm really not sure what got me going. I think it was a way to relieve some stress, set a goal for myself to see what I could do, and maybe I thought it might be good for me (maybe?) This past Sunday I relayed a marathon with friends. It was SOOO cold, but it was lots of fun. I've realized I actually enjoy running. Maybe because I'm the type of person that loves to reach the finish...achieve the goal. I hope to run a half marathon within the next year...it will be an accomplishment for me! We shall see...
Me close to mile 5!! So excited!!

A Caterpillar Party!

Two years really does fly...especially when you are talking about your third child. I really feel like she was born just yesterday! I CANNOT imagine our family without her...she is full of life! When I say full of life, I mean that in every sense of the word full! Full of laughter, full of tears, full of tantrums, full of energy, full of singing, full of trying to get attention...the list goes on and on! Having a birthday the day after Christmas has been a challenge...BUT I am determined that her birthdays will be just as special!! (I have been told that birthdays MUST be seperate from ANY Christmas celebration.) So this year we are into The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle...thought this would be any easy theme....
Hungry Caterpillar Invites!

It was a small family party...which was great! She loved every minute of it!!
The cake was easy and fun to make!

My sweet little two year old caterpillar! Love her:)

New Year, New Blog

I actually began this blog over one year ago, but sadly did not get past just creating the account! Now I am taking the next step and beginning a family blog. I love reading blogs of friends and others and just felt I needed to do this for our family. I do not need one more "thing to do" in my life, but am actually excited about something that will be like a journal for me. Hoping others will enjoy this too! Happy New Year and welcome to things that our family finds as the joys in life!!
