Anna Britten's Candyland Party

When you think about planning a party around Christmas it's hard to know how to pull it off. I began looking around months ago for ideas for Anna Britten's 3rd Birthday. While playing Candyland with the kids one day, I thought...that's it, a candyland party! To make it easier, I went ahead and decorated the back porch in a candyland theme! Between pininterest and brainstorming, I came up with many fun ideas!
Brett at the Polka Dot Princess designed her invitations and I thought they were perfect! We invited all her classmates and Little Gym friends plus some close friends of the family and cousins. It was a super fun day and the party was wonderful!
The candy table (this idea came from pininterest!) I added some fabric and ribbon to the top of gatorade bottles...the kids filled their bottles up with candy from the candy table as favors. I also had little bags with toothbrushes in them (another pininterest idea).
The food table...we had firehouse subs, chick fil-a, rainbow goldfish, and chips.
Fun decorations...
Gingerbread men made out of burlap!
The birthday girl...she wasn't feeling all that great. We had been to the doctor the day before and found out she had a bad ear infection!
Candyland cake...
She wasn't so sure about all the attention she was getting while blowing out the candles!
Happy Birthday AB!!
Could not have pulled this party off without Leigh!
Sweet friends!
Fun party, fun day!
